Investment Philosophy
The fundamental driver of investment returns is the purchase of aircraft assets at below their intrinsic value.
We take a bottom-up approach to underwriting our aircraft investments, using fundamental research on airline credits, extensive technical analysis on the underlying assets and industry specific knowledge when building our investment model.
Aircraft are hard, fungible assets which depreciate steadily over their useful lives.
Operating leases are backed by underlying aircraft assets that can be re-marketed in event airline defaults.
We select assets that have excellent liquidity, wide operator bases, large installed asset base and predictable residual values.
We follow a disciplined asset selection criteria, targeting aircraft investments with attractive risk-adjusted characteristics and large upside potential.
We utilise dedicated sourcing capabilities to seek and identify less competitive situations.
Our proprietary network of buyers, sellers and end-users means we have access to ‘off-market’ deals.
